Malagasy on iPhone/iPad

Here are instructions for getting Universalis on the iPhone and iPad and reading it in Malagasy.

If you already have the Universalis or Catholic Calendar app: Follow the instructions below.

Otherwise: You need Catholic Calendar. You can get it here. It is free.

1. Open the app.

2. Tap on the text in the middle of the screen, and a toolbar will appear at the top:

On the right-hand side of the toolbar there is a cog-wheel. Tap it.

3. The “Settings” screen will appear. It is divided into sections. Scroll to the “Liturgy of the Hours” section.

4. Tap on “Extra language”. A list of languages will appear.

Tap on “Malagasy only”.

• If you see only “English & Malagasy” and not “Malagasy only”, then you need to update your copy of Universalis or Catholic Calendar. Here are the instructions.
