Advanced Debugging on iOS

Posted by universalis on 16 October 2019

Very, very rarely, a problem comes up where we need the Universalis app to report precisely what it is doing at every instant, and also to report every detail of its configuration.

Turning Advanced Debugging on and off

  1. Tap on the text in the middle of the screen, to make the toolbar appear.
  2. Tap on the cog-wheel on the right-hand side of the toolbar, to make the Settings screen appear.
  3. Scroll to the bottom of the Settings screen. You will find a section called “Advanced”.
  4. Within the “Advanced” section, turn the “Advanced Debugging” switch on or off.
  5. Close the Settings screen.

How to use Advanced Debugging

Use it only when we ask you. We will ask you to use it when you have a problem which requires especially deep investigation.

  1. Turn Advanced Debugging ON.
  2. Make the problem happen.
  3. Send us a “Contact Us” message. The instructions are here.

You need to send the “Contact Us” message immediately the problem happens. If the problem causes the Universalis app to close, open the app and immediately send the “Contact Us” message.
