At the moment, you have to have a registration code that you bought directly from us if you want to use the experimental email service.
iPhone users don’t get a registration code when they buy the Universalis application. At present this means that they can’t try out the email service. Our intention is that they will eventually be able to use the service, but we’re still thinking about ways of making this possible.
Meanwhile, if you have the iPhone application and are interested in daily emails, I’m afraid you’ll just have to be patient.

From time to time people ask us if they can get daily emails of the Universalis pages. So far all we have been able to offer is the RSS-to-email services described here, but now we have started an experimental service to send you complete Universalis pages by email every day.
This service is experimental and we may stop it or change it or reconfigure it at any time. It’s also restricted, for the moment, to people who have already bought a registration code for the downloadable version of Universalis. This gives a built-in way of making sure that only authorised people receive the emails. Please don’t go and buy a registration code just in order to get the email service, because we may end up doing things differently in the future.
If you have a Universalis registration code, click here to try out the service. If you have any comments or questions, you can leave them as comments to this blog posting.

We are proud to announce the publication of our first printed book, “The Snow Cow” by Martin Kochanski, on 19 November.
Subtitled “Ghost stories for skiers”, it might not sound to you like the sort of religious or spiritual book that you’d have expected from Universalis. Certainly there isn’t much theology; and yet the stories (which don’t all contain ghosts) have an enormous amount of love and joy in them. After all, this, for a Christian, is what life and death are all about.
And quite apart from anything else, the stories are easy to read and very entertaining!
Visit the Snow Cow web site to read more about the book. There’s even a sample chapter for you to download.
