They're automatically generated by Wordpress for people who haven't got a Wordpress profile of their own. I've no idea where they come from originally.

Thank you for introducing me to Mykonos.

Where do you get those square tile boxes printed in the right hand corner of each comment?

Thanks.

I'm pleased to see someone has got here before me, as I, too,
thought the reflection on friendship made very worthwhile reading indeed.

I liked this entry-- this is a first for me in regards to how different a mass can be when so many different languages are accomodated simultaneously. Yet, the comment about loathing the translator on sight was a big "Clank" in my mind--talk about "wanting to remove the splinter in the neighbor's eye with the log in our own". Not that we shouldn't be human and have feelings, and even express these feelings honestly, but what was the purpose here? How did it help your story? It seems to run counter to the whole point of running the Universalis site-- a place seemingly devoted to an attitude of prayer and praise.

Also, the reason I went to your blog was reading today's (6/25) reflection on friendship. Your sorrow at the loss of this state from our modern relationships sounds to me right along Pope Benedict XVI's Encyclical on love, only he termed it Agape (the deep love of friendship) vs. Eros (desire-based love).

Thanks for writing and managing this site. I have enjoyed it for about 10-years now.

God Bless,
Sharon

I've been following some secular Greek blogs, so it's refreshing to see your descriptions here of INSIDE church. Really interesting. Thanks! Shalom from Jerusalem.
